Overview
This is the highest sports award given by the Punjab Government to athletes for excellence in sports over a sustained period.
Eligibility
- ▸ Must be a domicile of Punjab.
- ▸ Performance in the last 5 years in international/national circuits is considered.
Benefits
- ✓ Cash prize of ₹5 Lakh.
- ✓ Scroll, blazer, and a trophy of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
