Eligibility
- ▸ All recognized Universities in India are eligible
- ▸ Performance of the university in sporting events over the previous year is calculated using a point-based system
Benefits
- ✓ Overall winner: ₹15 lakh and rolling trophy
- ✓ 1st Runner-up: ₹7.5 lakh
- ✓ 2nd Runner-up: ₹4.5 lakh
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
Application process
Universities submit their performance records to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) which forwards recommendations.
