Overview
Provides financial assistance to outstanding sportspersons living in indigent circumstances for medical treatment, equipment purchase, or training.
Eligibility
- ▸ Sportspersons who have represented the country at national or international level.
- ▸ Annual income of the family must be less than ₹4 lakh.
- ▸ Coaches and support personnel in distress are also eligible.
Benefits
- ✓ Assistance up to ₹10 lakh for medical treatment of injuries/illness.
- ✓ Assistance up to ₹5 lakh for sportspersons living in indigent circumstances.
- ✓ Assistance up to ₹2.5 lakh for purchase of sports equipment.
- ✓ Assistance up to ₹2 lakh to families of deceased sportspersons.

- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
