Scheme aimed at grooming junior talent by providing institutionalized training in various sports disciplines across the country.
Eligibility
- ▸ Age between 10 to 18 years
- ▸ Performance based: Level 1 (National/International), Level 2 (State/Zonal medalists)
- ▸ Final selection via residential selection trials
Benefits
- ✓ Free boarding and lodging (for residential trainees)
- ✓ Stipend for non-residential trainees: ₹6,000 to ₹15,000 per annum depending on performance
- ✓ Standard coaching and sports kits provided
- ✓ Injury management and insurance coverage
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
