Overview
Direct cash incentives awarded to athletes and their coaches for winning medals in specified international sporting events to provide financial security.
Eligibility
- ▸ Must be a citizen of India
- ▸ Must win a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal in designated events (Olympics, Asian Games, CWG, etc.)
- ▸ Coaches who have trained the medal winners for at least 180 days before the event
Benefits
- ✓ Olympic Gold: ₹75 lakh; Silver: ₹50 lakh; Bronze: ₹30 lakh
- ✓ Asian Games/CWG Gold: ₹30 lakh; Silver: ₹20 lakh; Bronze: ₹10 lakh
- ✓ World Championship (Quadrennial) Gold: ₹40 lakh; Silver: ₹25 lakh; Bronze: ₹15 lakh

- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
