Eligibility
- ▸ Athletes with disabilities as defined under the PwD Act
- ▸ Must be participating in recognized sports disciplines for the disabled
- ▸ Assistance is often routed through Para-Sports Federations
Benefits
- ✓ Grant for organizing district, state, and national level games for disabled persons
- ✓ Provision for specific specialized equipment
- ✓ Assistance for coaching camps and international participation
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
