First Indian man in seven years to win a Grand Slam main-draw match, courtesy of his 2020 US Open first-round victory (the first since Somdev Devvarman in 2013). At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics he won his opening match before exiting in the second round; at Paris 2024 he lost in the opening round (round of 64) to France's Corentin Moutet.
