Athlete Guide – Statewise Sports Opportunities
Official SAI and Khelo India centres for every state and sport, with the source for each entry.
Every centre, academy and figure on this page comes from an official government list or a verified academy record published by the Sports Authority of India or Khelo India, last checked on 23 August 2026. We do not publish seat counts, admission deadlines or trial dates, because no official source publishes them per state and per sport — a wrong date costs an athlete a trial. For those, use the official notification links in the section.

How This Guide Works
Sourced entries only
Every entry comes from an SAI or Khelo India publication, or a verified academy record — each linked on the page.
Nothing is estimated
Where an official figure does not exist, we show 'Not published' rather than a guess.
Dates stay at the source
Trial and admission dates link to the official notice, so you never act on a stale date.
Official lists last checked 23 August 2026. Spotted a centre that is missing or out of date? Tell us and we will check it against the source.
