Zurab Sturua (born 8 June 1959) is a Georgian chess player, who was awarded the title of grandmaster by FIDE in 1991. He won the Georgian Chess Championship in 1975 (at the age of 16), 1977, 1981, 1984 and 1985 and played for Georgia in the Chess Olympiads of 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002. Sturua won the Master Open of the Biel Chess Festival in 1991 and 1996.
