One existing state training centre per State/UT is notified as a Khelo India State Centre of Excellence under the State Level Khelo India Centre (SLKIC) vertical and receives annual viability gap funding, per the implementation guidelines F.No. 02/KI/SLKIC/Operational Guidelines/2020-21 dated 18 June 2020.

Eligibility

What does the Centre fund and what stays with the State?+

SAI provides technical expertise and signs an MoU with each centre setting out the operational and financial arrangements.
How long is support given?+
Selected proposals are supported for at least three years, coterminous with the Khelo India scheme, after a DPAC-approved on-site viability gap analysis by SAI.
