Eligibility

  • Akhara must have a minimum of 20 active wrestlers
  • Availability of adequate space for mats or mud pits
  • Registered as a sports body or under a trust

Benefits

  • One-time grant for wrestling mats and gym equipment
  • Provision of a trained coach if available
  • Financial assistance up to ₹5,00,000 for equipment
