- Amount / benefit value
- Olympic Games: ₹75 lakh (Gold) / ₹50 lakh (Silver) / ₹30 lakh (Bronze). Asian Games & Commonwealth Games: ₹30/20/10 lakh. World Championships/World Cup (quadrennial): ₹40/25/15 lakh; (biennial): ₹20/14/8 lakh; (annual): ₹10/7/4 lakh. Para-sport events carry comparable slabs (Para Asian Games ₹30/20/10 lakh, Deaflympics/Special Olympics World Games ₹20/14/8 lakh).

Note: Introduced in 1986. This is the Central government's own medal-incentive scheme — distinct from the Indian Olympic Association's separate rewards, which use different (though similar) figures. Team events: prize shared equally, no member gets less than 50% of the individual-event amount.
