Overview
Honors coaches who have enabled sportspersons to achieve excellence in international events. It has two categories: Regular and Lifetime.
Eligibility
- ▸ Regular Category: For coaches producing medal winners in the last 4 years.
- ▸ Lifetime Category: For coaches who have produced outstanding sportspersons over a period of 20 years or more.
Benefits
- ✓ Lifetime Category: ₹15 lakh cash prize.
- ✓ Regular Category: ₹10 lakh cash prize.
- ✓ Bronze statue of Dronacharya and a certificate.
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
