Overview
A social security scheme providing monthly financial aid to former athletes of Karnataka who have crossed the age of 50.
Eligibility
- ▸ Age above 50 years
- ▸ Represented Karnataka in National or India in International events
- ▸ Income must be below the prescribed limit
Benefits
- ✓ Monthly pension of ₹2,000 for National level athletes
- ✓ Monthly pension of ₹2,500 for International level athletes
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
