Note: The 2023 policy also created 500 special-cadre jobs for medal winners (deputy directors, senior coaches, coaches, junior coaches) and ₹250 crore for 1,000 sports nurseries.

Eligibility

  • ▸ Age 40 years and above
  • ▸ Medal winners in Olympics, Asian Games, or Commonwealth Games
  • ▸ Annual income should not exceed specific state limits

Benefits

  • ✓ ₹15,000 per month for Olympic medalists
  • ✓ ₹7,500 - ₹10,000 per month for Asian/Commonwealth medalists
