About the academy
Indian Army's elite multi-sport institute producing Olympians and Asian Games medallists. Since 2001, Army Sports Institute has operated from Pune, Maharashtra, building a structured pathway from grassroots talent identification through to senior elite competition. The academy is sai-recognised training centre and runs both residential and day-scholar programmes for ages 10–23 years.

Daily schedule
Admissions
Trials are held in June & December for age-group categories. Shortlisted candidates undergo a 3-day assessment covering physical testing, sport-specific skills and an interview with the head coach. Scholarships are awarded on merit to athletes with state or national-level results.
