Sourcing caveat: One institution, two designations: Uttarakhand's government sports college at Dehradun is also the state's Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, which the Khelo India list records as non-operational with no trainees. The college's own eight-discipline list is published by the state sports department. Two data problems worth knowing: sports.uk.gov.in prints this college's website, mpscollege.in, against Sri Hari Singh Thapa Sports College, Pithoragarh as well — almost certainly a copy-paste error — and mpscollege.in itself timed out on five fetch attempts, so nothing on it has been re-verified today.

  2. The Khelo India list states it verbatim: “Induction of athletes in various KISCEs is under process. Indiution/weeding out of athletes is round-the-year activity for all KISCEs.” (spelling as printed in the PDF.)
