Khelo India accredited academy

  • Archery, Athletics, Gymnastics, Table Tennis — Boys & Girls · Residential
  • Hockey — Girls · Residential

As published on the Khelo India Accredited Academies (official dashboard), checked 2026-09-04. This list publishes no address, contact, fee or age range for any academy, so none is shown here.

Sourcing caveat: SAI lists hockey at the National Centre of Excellence here for girls. The wider sport list comes from its regional-centre record for the same campus, which covers the sports coached there rather than the NCOE disciplines.

Admission process

  1. You cannot submit an open application to an NCOE or SAI regional centre.
  2. Entry is either by a SAI or national-federation talent-identification committee, or by qualifying at an open selection trial that SAI announces separately for each centre and each discipline.
  3. Those open trials are real and recurring. SAI's notice for the NCOE Mumbai wrestling trial, for example, advertised vacancies of 10 in Greco-Roman, 2 in Free Style and 2 in Women's wrestling, in the U-17, U-20 and U-23 age groups; SAI also publishes an "NCOE Athletics Selection Trials — All Venues" notice.
  4. Published eligibility at that trial: a state championship medal, or a top-five finish at national championships or ranking tournaments in the previous two years.
  5. There is no application form for a trial — candidates report at the venue in person, carrying a birth certificate, Aadhaar, achievement certificates, education qualifications and two passport photographs.
  6. Lodging is not provided during the trials.

Trials

Open selection trials are announced by SAI per centre and per discipline, alongside talent identification by SAI and the national federations. Watch SAI's selection-trial notices — there is no application form; shortlisted candidates report at the venue.
