Sakshi Malik

First Indian woman wrestler to win an Olympic medal (Rio 2016 bronze). One of the three most visible leaders of the 2023 wrestlers' protest against then-WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment allegations involving several women wrestlers. Announced her retirement from wrestling in December 2023 in protest, on the day a Brij Bhushan ally was elected the new WFI chief.
