Overview
Monthly pension for medalists from the UT who have reached the age of 40 and are not employed in the government sector.
Eligibility
- ▸ Resident of Jammu & Kashmir
- ▸ Age 40 years and above
- ▸ Medalist in Olympics, Asian Games, or Commonwealth Games
Benefits
- ✓ Monthly pension of ₹5,000 for Olympic medalists
- ✓ Monthly pension of ₹3,000 - ₹4,000 for other international level medalists
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
