A comprehensive policy introduced in 2022 to provide cash rewards and government jobs to medalists from the UT.
Eligibility
- ▸ Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir
- ▸ Medalists in Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or National Games
Benefits
- ✓ Olympic Gold: ₹1 Crore; Silver: ₹60 Lakh; Bronze: ₹40 Lakh
- ✓ Incentives for Coaches (up to ₹10 Lakh)
- ✓ Gazetted and Non-Gazetted post reservations for 'Outstanding Sportspersons'
Documents required
- ▪ Aadhaar card
- ▪ Proof of age (birth certificate / school certificate)
- ▪ Domicile / residence proof
- ▪ Recent passport-size photograph
- ▪ Sports achievement certificates (state / national)
- ▪ Bank account details (passbook copy)
- ▪ Coach / academy recommendation letter (if applicable)
- ▪ Medical fitness certificate
